Polyester Putty

Isatis Polyester putty, which is formulated on the basis of unsaturated polyester resin, has a very good performance at low temperatures, and despite having high mechanical resistance, it has high softness and easy sanding, even after a few days of application. Its advanced formula ensures excellent adhesion to metal and galvanized surfaces. The putty is suitable for both wet and dry sanding, and thanks to its benzoyl peroxide hardening agent, it can harden even at low temperatures. It leaves a non-sticky surface and does not cause any shrinkage during the curing process.

Some Questions Regarding Putty

How To Apply?

  • Make sure the object you want to fix is clean, dry, and free from rust and grease. Sand it if needed.
  • Take some putty compound from the can and mix it well with the hardener.
  • Apply the mixture to the desired thickness.
  • Clean your tools right away, using a nitro thinner if necessary.
  • Don't put any leftover mixture back into the can.
  • After about 30 minutes, you can drill, sand, saw, rasp, and paint the repaired spot.
  • Isatis Putty is very flexible and easy to sand.
  • You can use the putty on surfaces with low temperatures (at least +5°C), but make sure the putty itself is at room temperature.
  • Reminder: Don't apply the putty directly on zinc-plated surfaces; prime them with a suitable zinc primer first.
